The desiccant rotor is fabricated as a matrix of corrugated and flat heat resistant sheet which houses the desiccant material (usually the silica gel agent). The matrix creates a large number of axis flutes through rotor, which has a good binding and it gives an immense surface area contained within a small volume for moisture adsorption. The rotor is manufactured and processed to withstand the moisture saturated air
